PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

Shooting Touch Boston (STB) embodies a basketball-for-good approach with the full understanding that sport is a powerful platform for positive youth development. With 40% of adolescent girls not actively involved in sport, and 2x more likely (than boys) to drop out of sport by the age of 14, Shooting Touch has put girls at the forefront of our mission's focus.

STB Clinics offer a safe and supportive space for girls to become familiar with the game of basketball, advance their skill-set, and receive relevant and holistic health education and mentorship to influence success on and off the basketball court. Offered year-round, STB’s clinic participants receive basketball training, health guidance, and sport gear for no cost at all.

Thank you to everyone who attended the April Break Clinic! Stay tuned for more clinics coming soon.

You are all unique and special in your own way. Don’t compare yourself to anyone else out there. You are all perfect just the way you are.
— Morgan Tuck of the WNBA’s Connecticut Sun (STB April Clinic, 2022)
