Program Description:
In partnership with the local non-profit, SISRun, Shooting Touch Boston (STB) sponsors a community-wide, summer basketball league, 100% free of cost. SISRun's mission is to create space for young women to play basketball, develop a sisterhood, and build community camaraderie. This partnership aims to inspire and connect more women and girls, while elevating the women's game within the City of Boston. The two-month summer league welcomes young women, ages 14-25+, of all skill levels. To conclude the league, SISRun and STB organize a community basketball event supporting black-owned businesses.

We’re making some progress, but we’re not accustomed to prioritizing women and girls. But at Shooting Touch, you all prioritize them. I love our partnership because together we have the power to make change. Shooting Touch represents the ultimate goal of positively impacting young ladies in Boston.””
