Shooting Touch & UNESCO LAUNCH Partnership in Paris

UNESCO features Shooting Touch Rwanda in new Fit For Life Sport and Gender Equality Game Plan

PARIS, FRANCE (July 24, 2024) - Amidst the Olympic festivities in Paris this past summer, Shooting Touch was spotlighted in UNESCO's Sport and Gender Equality Game Plan, recognizing our work in Rwanda as a gold standard for sport-for-development programs around the world!

This exciting new partnership, part of the UNESCO Fit for Life initiative, was launched at the "Change The Game" Ministerial Forum in Paris on July 24, where Shooting Touch’s In-Country Program Director, Christelle Umuhoza, and Board Member, Grant Williams, spoke on a panel, sharing powerful stories and insights about our work promoting gender equality through sport.

We are deeply grateful for UNESCO and their efforts to #ChangeTheGame through dynamic partnerships, impactful advocacy, and informative case studies. We invite you to explore their full Sport & Gender Equality Game Plan, filled with highlights of our remarkable impact in 2023, such as:
